Dontari Poe

Before Poe’s freshman year of high school, Wooddale High School coach, Cedric Miller, discovered Poe practicing with the school marching band. He told Poe to report to football practice the next day.

By his junior year of high school, Poe was an all-state honorable mention defensive lineman with opportunities to play college football. He saw interest from his hometown school Memphis as well as Auburn, Colorado, and Mississippi. Poe decided on the University of Memphis where he would become a three-year letter winner and garner All-Conference USA second team honors by his junior year. Our Mission

Poe Man’s Dream Foundation aims to give under-served middle school and high school students opportunities to succeed by providing them with resources for personal development and tools for success.

Through mentorship and hands-on learning, students build upon their knowledge as well as gain positive role models in their lives to help them pursue their dreams. Poe Man’s Dream is also dedicated to making sure students and their families have the tools they need to succeed through the donations of school supplies, food, clothing, and necessities for families during the holidays.

We’re also excited for our 2nd free football camp in Memphis, TN on June 3rd, 2017 at Wooddale High School.
